Cyanotypes:
Art the Sun Makes

Cyanoypes:
From Greek, Cyan:Dark Blue
Typos: Mark, Impression, Type

A magical process of capturing the silhouettes, outlines, impressions, layers, and forms of plants, leaves, flowers and seeds, found objects and everything in between. Images come out a stark blue and white.

Lots of experimentation to be had!

Come play!

Art that keeps on giving

Come make prints that you can use as cards, gift tags, art to give away, art to keep… Carve a pumpkin? You can carve your very own stamp (or stamps!) that you can use over and over again to make one-of-a-kind art. You can switch up the color ink you use, what you print it on and you can just keep going on and on and on until you have enough for everyone and everywhere!

Gather together a group of 4-8 friends or family members and come learn and play with block printing together! Walk away with a stamp that you can use over and over again to make one-of-a-kind art, made by you! And have a beautiful (goofy, playful, fun) experience with those you love!

You do not need to know anything about art or consider yourself an artist! One of my goals is to empower people to try something new. We get to practice quieting the voices that tell us how we are doing it wrong. We each get to make art exactly as we are making it! Come give it a whirl!

“I define connection as the energy that is created between people when they feel seen, heard and valued; when they can give and receive without judgement: and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” —Brene Brown
