Introducing…Emma!

I believe in both the power of play and nervous system support to help people access and integrate growth and vitality. After utilizing the strategies gained in a Masters in psychology, great relationship building and narrative and solution focused interventions, talk therapy only got me so far with clients. There were barriers, blockages and fears that just kept getting in the way of growth and change. It was clear folks needed more expressive body-based support to unearth, confront and disarm the limiting and damaging messages from family, romantic relationships, society, and so many other sources. So I have been collecting holistic trauma-informed strategies that draw on neuroscience, mindfulness, art, somatics, re-connection to wisdoms that have been suppressed and dismissed and so much more.

I have eagerly sought out somatic body-based training and tools that fit with my style so I can guide people through the process addressing blockages and hurt within the body and emotional memory store-houses. The tools I have gathered work both with the nervous system and with each person’s innovation and creativity to examine powerful experiences and re-configure a person’s relationship with themselves and their current beliefs and stories. I help folks strengthen trust in themselves to be able to create the boundaries and collect the tools they need to navigate their particular life paths.  As part of the queer community, I am dedicated to creating healing spaces for adults and teens within the LGBTQ+ and trans & non-binary communities. I am excited to collaborate and co-create as a resilient adventurer on this ever unfolding life journey.

I am in a collective of healing arts practitioners:
